HOW TO CREATE A NEON TEXT WITH PHOTOSHOP

Result Final.

In this tutorial, I will be show you ho to create a Neon text with photoshop, is a simple tutorial & nice effect text to add some beauty to your texts. First you need to download the PACK file to find a font use and PSD file for that effect, take that tutorial & enjoy.

The tutorial.

First Step : Create a Background.

Create a new Document ( press on cmd/ctrl + N ), type 520 pixels in the width & 400 pixels in the height & 72 pxl/cen in the resolution.

Choose paint bucket tool to change background color to that color : #333333.

Double click on background layer to unlock it & right click, choose Blending Option, after apply this option in Pattern Overlay style :
In the pack neon text you find a pattern used, add it and apply it with 50% in the opacity.

Go to Layer ==> Duplicate ( or press on cmd/ctrl + J ) to duplicate Layer 0, call it noise, to add some noise to that background go to Filter ==> Noise ==> Add Noise & choose 1,5% in the Amount, & Distribution is Uniform.

To add some light to background, create new layer ( press on cmd/ctrl + shift + N ) & call it light, choose that color : #F3F3F3 and choose the brush tool with 300px in her size & make you sure is a soft brush, & draw a big circle.

Change the Opacity of light layer to 15% & now you have a nice background.

Second Step : Add a text.

After your installation of Myriad Pro font, choose type tool ( press T ) & type your text with 72 pt in size & white color.

Duplicate your text 3 times & Disable the text copy and text copy 2, change the opacity of text copy to 70%.

Double click on original text to apply some option :

- Bevel & Emboss :

Style : Inner Bevel, Technique : Smoth, Depth : 1000px, Size : 1px, Soften : 8px, Angle : 84°, Altitude : 37°, Hightlight mode : linear light & her opacity to : 100%, Opacity of shadow mode : 0%.

- Contour : Range : 100%.

- Inner Shadow :

Blend mode : color burn & color : #18767C, Opacity : 100%, Angle : -82° & disable use Global Light, Distance : 5 px, Choke : 0 px, Size : 5 px.

- Color Overlay : change the color to #75E7FF & the opacity to : 95%.

- Gradient : Change just the Gradient to that colors " #E4E4E4 in foreground, & #F2D2D2 in the background ".

- Outer Glow :

Blend Mode : Lighten, Opacity : 74%, Noise : 0%, color : #00DFED, Spread : 0%, Size : 21%, Range : 31%, Jitter : 0%.

- Drap Shadow :

Opacity : 44%, Angle : 84°, disable use Global light, Distance : 5px, Spread : 0%, Size : 10px, Noise : 2%.

- Double click on text copy 3 and apply that options :

Opacity : 20%, Angle : 84°, Distance : 5px, choke : 0%, size : 5px, Noise : 20%.

Adding Some Final Effects.

To create a cord bottom of text, create new layer ( press in cmd/ctrl + shift + N ), and choose pen tool to draw a cord like Electric cable.

Choose the brush tool & change size ro : 3 px, & hardness to : 100%.

Choose again the pen tool and right click, choose Strike Path.

Choose brush tool in the menu stroke path, and create a cord with it.

Double click on layer cord to add some options :

- Bevel & emboss : style : Inner Bevel, Technique : Smooth, Depth : 93%, size : 0%, siften : 0%, Angle : 84°, Altitude : 37°, Hightlight Mode : screen & color : #42E0FC.

- Gradient :

choose the Gradient with this colors : " Black color in foreground, & this color : #4B4B4B in the background ".

- Drop Shadow :

Opacity : 49%, Angle : 84°, Distance : 13px, Spread : 0%, size : 13px.

Finally If you want to add some black corner to your picture, create new layer in top of all layers, call it shadow corner, choose pain bucket tool and use it in shadow corner layer, choose the brush tool with 450 pt in size & 0% in hardness.
